daylight savings time

this is pretty sweet. apparently ancient civilizations used to have longer hours during the summer, literally, so that they still had 12 hours of daylight. and 12 “hours” of darkness at night, of as little as 45 minutes each. vice-versa in the winter.

daylight savings time ends here in méxico tonight. for me this means i leave the house at dawn instead of arriving to work at dawn. woohoo!

pero todavía madrugo.
