I have a list somewhere of things I have realized that make me see other things differently. I tend to remember them whenever I re-experience the sensation they gave me. The feeling of having my mind blown, dejection, hilarity, affirmation, wonderment, what have you. All-around, though, the feeling is clarity.
I think that list is in a box in my parents’ basement. Hardly the cloud. So here we go, startin fresh:
- This is like that time I realized the Soviets won WWII.
- This is like that time I realized Casey Kasem played Shaggy on Scooby Doo.
- This is like that time I realized the lowest bill you can tip a stripper in Canada is $5.
- This is like that time I realized what “cotton-pickin” means.
I will try to remember some of the other amazing things I have realized, but it’ll be slow going. The reason I started this blog is that my memory sucks.
